TXv6TF is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2013 Summer Summit at Rice University in Houston Texas. The event is scheduled to be July 17 and 18. More information is available here.

The Texas IPv6 Task Force has launched a project to report on adoption of IPv6 and DNSSEC by the County Governments of Texas. See http://maps.txv6tf.org for the report and contact your commissioner’s court if you see that your county is not supporting the via technologies!
Today is world IPv6 Launch Day.
The North American IPv6 Summit is happening April 10-11,2012 in Denver, Colorado. Stephan Lagerholm, TXv6TF board member, will be speaking at the conference on Wednesday at 11:15am as part of the Enterprise and IPAM track, one of three tracks scheduled. Registration is open.
Stan Barber, chair of TXv6TF, is speaking and will be part of a panel at the upcoming IEEE Globecomm meeting in Houston this week. This is the 2nd year that Stan has spoken at the IEEE Globecomm event and the 10th year that IEEE has engaged the IPv6 Forum to assemble a group of IPv6 experts for an afternoon on IPv6. This will happen Wednesday, December 7. For more information, check the IEEE Globecomm website. A copy of the slides from this talk are available.
The Rocky Mountain IPv6 Task Force has announced the dates for a joint event being called the 2012 North American IPv6 Summit. The dates of the event are April 9 – 11, 2012 and will be in Denver. Check out this link for more information.
